- Be an active driver of digital transformation! You will develop, optimize, and pilot Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to achieve near-zero downtime in our production lines.
- You will oversee IT and MES topics (Level 2 support), safeguard the IT infrastructure in a highly automated production plant, and ensure seamless network and server maintenance.
- You coordinate activities between developers, operational departments, and customer representatives to ensure streamlined service deployments. You will also manage complete IT/MES rollouts on a plant level, including crucial ERP connections.
- You actively participate in and lead systematic problem-solving cases to identify clear root causes and implement sustainable technical solutions.
- You define technical standards and work packages, and create training plans for colleagues. You share your deep knowledge while gaining profound insights into industrial manufacturing processes.
Profil - Personality and working style: You are a highly adaptable, open-minded team player with strong prioritization and time-management skills. You have a talent for clear communication, easily adapting complex technical information for both engineers and non-technical managers.
- Experience and Know-how: You bring multiple years of professional experience in an IT/MES role within a manufacturing or factory production environment. You have solid expertise in maintaining IT network infrastructure, server management (especially MS Windows Server), and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Enthusiasm: You are passionate about modern IT operations. Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Rancher) and building data links between IT systems (e.g., Kafka, Solace) is a strong plus.
- Education: You hold a completed university degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Applied Electronics, or a comparable technical field.
- Languages: You are fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage in our international teams.
