Software DevOps Engineer (f/m/div.)
Your tasks
You will be part of an international agile development team, which focus on the development of automotive embedded software. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, continuous improvement of workflows, and management of our software development infrastructure to ensure a robust and efficient environment for our development teams.
Your contribution to something big:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Ensure the pipelines are reliable, efficient, and secure to support development and operational needs.
- Continuously analyze existing workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices and optimize productivity.
- Gather feedback from team members to enhance tools and processes, ensuring they align with project goals.
- Provide and maintain the infrastructure necessary for effective software development, including servers, networks, and other resources.
- Implement and manage version control systems, ensuring best practices are followed in code management.
- Ensure appropriate access controls and security measures are in place to protect development environments and resources.
- Evaluate and deploy new tools and technologies to support development efforts, including monitoring and analytics solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of CI/CD practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide support and guidance to team members on CI/CD tools and practices.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss project progress and technical challenges.
Your profile What distinguishes you:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related data software field.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) principles and tools.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience and proficiency in Jenkins, Git and Jira.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker)
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Proactive, pragmatic, open minded and good communicator.
What distinguishes you:
