Oracle Database Developer - PL/SQL (f/m/div.) - Braga

We are looking for a Software Development Specialist for a project to secure Bosch competitiveness through transforming our landscape into an optimal and cutting-edge manufacturing IT environment.

Your contribution to something big: 

• Develop and optimize Oracle databases with strong expertise in PL/SQL;
• Design and manage Oracle objects (tables, views, procedures, packages, triggers);
• Interpret and refine complex data models to ensure efficiency and scalability;
• Perform Oracle performance tuning to enhance system reliability;
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver robust solutions;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to drive innovation;

What distinguishes you:

Education & Experience

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software/database development;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Know-how

• Expertise in Oracle Database Development and PL/SQL;
• Strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning and optimization;
• Experience designing and managing Oracle objects.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience creating and maintaining Docker images for database development;
• Previous involvement in database migration or modernization projects;
• Experience with Oracle APEX;
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation;
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git);

Languages

• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
