Work scope includes:
- Conduct research and pre-development of innovative electrical machines for electrified vehicles but not limited to
- Focus on electromagnetic design, simulation and optimization as well as prototyping and validation.
- Work closely with corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany, on project activities and competence development.
- Work closely with business units to supply cutting edge and competitive technology solutions and to transform them to products.
- Execute technology scouting in China/Asia covering both academia and industry for preparing strategic decisions.
- Main responsibilities include
- Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new product concepts including patent filing
- Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully
- Manage suppliers and lab facilities for sample construction.
您的个人资料 - Ph.D or Master degree in discipline of electrical machine
- At least 5 years electrical machine design experience in academia or industry for Master degree
- Expert knowledge and practical experiences in electrical machine design, simulation, fast prototyping and experimental validation
- Familiar with mechanical design, thermal management, and tools such as Ansys, JMAG, MotorCAD, UG, Matlab/ Simulink.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written), German speaking is a plus
- Good knowledge with certain level of experience on electric powertrain system and components e.g. inverter, electric motor and gearbox are preferred.
- International education and experiences is a plus
- Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work
- Passionate for innovation; filed patents on qualified content during PhD or prior work is a benefit
- Strong team player; open to work in an international environment
